From the outset, the Dublin BIC was structured as a unique EU-supported initiative with a Board of Directors representing national and local interests from the public, private, enterprise development and higher education sectors. The following individuals comprise the Board of DBIC:

The full Board meets at least every quarter. Responsibility for day-to-day decisions has been devolved to an Executive Committee which meets very regularly with the Dublin BIC's Chief Executive, Desmond Fahey. DBIC, together with its Board, is heavily involved regionally and nationally in initiatives designed to encourage the provision of seed capital and incubation space.
