EBN is a knowledge sharing organisation promoting innovation and entrepreneurship by bringing over 200 BICs together from around Europe and beyond.  It helps and supports BICs by interfacing with other organisations, including the European Commission, and by providing expertise.

Over their 25 years the 200+ BICs have cumulatively:

• Supported the creation of more than 65,000 start-ups
• More than 276,000 jobs
• Assisted 252,000 SMEs
• Developed more than 170,000 business plans
• The average survival rate of enterprises in 2009 was 89%.
